What is the GED® Test?

The GED® test is actually five tests that you can take in one day or over a series of days. Many people refer to it as a high school equivalency test because when you pass the test, you earn a credential that most colleges and employers recognize as the equivalent of a high school diploma.

Who is it for?

If you have completed your O levels and want to accelerate your education pathway then you may choose to complete the GED which is accepted in many high ranked universities in the United States and gives you a wide knowledge on the north american education system.

If you have completed your S.S.C, you can complete the GED in 6 months instead of your H.S.C and gain admission in well reputed universities of the United States for your higher education

If you have completed your H.S.C and you are not satisfied with your results, then you can complete the GED to pursue with your further education abroad.

If you are a student with a long gap in your education and wish to continue, completion of the GED allows you to continue your education again with various opportunities for higher studies.

What does the GED test?

The GED Tests include five subject area tests: Reasoning Through Language Arts-Reading, Reasoning Through Language Arts-writing, Mathematical Reasoning, Social Studies and Science.

How is the GED Test Scored?

For each of the five tests, you will receive a score between 100 and 200. Because each test has a different number of available points, the GED Testing Service will standardize your raw scores through a scoring metric to yield a score between 100 and 200. It is important to remember that there is no penalty for wrong answers or questions left blank, so it is to your advantage to answer every question.

What is a Passing Grade?

The minimum score needed to pass any of the five subject tests on the GED test is 150. In order to get your completion certificate, you must achieve this score on each test. A higher score on one test will not make up for lower score on another.

Where to Register?

The registration point for GED Test in Bangladesh is BDBL Bhaban, Dhaka and the registration fee for four subjects is BDT 25,000.
